Esther Braunstein

Esther Braunstein, 96, of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her residence.

Born June 24, 1911 in New York City, New York, she moved to Lake Wales 2 years ago from Queens, NY. She was a former usher at the Lincoln Center in New York, held an administrative position with Citibank, was a school crossing guard, a volunteer on Rosevelt Island assisting severly handicapped people, and also volunteered at the New York Founding Hospital. She was of Jewish faith.

She is receded in death by her Husband, Henry Braunstein. Survivors include her children; Jean Herman of St. Augustine, FL, Sandra Braunstein of Queens, NY, Marsha Tunon of Pompano Beach, FL, Rita Braunstein and Carol Russo both of Queens, NY, David Braunstein of Long Beach, CA and Dr. Roy Braunstein of Lake Wales, FL; brother, Samuel Perlmutter of Monticello, NY; sister, Ann Lerner of Brooklyn, NY; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
