ESSIE EVELYN “PINKY” EDGE, 65

Essie Evelyn “Pinky” Edge, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born May 2, 1943 in Lake Wales; she was a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. She attended the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.

Essie was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Edge in 1999. Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn T. Whitfield of Phoenix, AZ and Karen E. Hall of Lake Wales; sons, Vernon Edge and Andrew “Andy” Edge both of Lake Wales; brother, Joe E. Page of Lake Wales; sister, Helen P. Chauncey of O’Brian; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
