FROSTPROOF -- Mrs. Essie Aunt Mae Bennett of Frostproof died of heart failure Wednesday (March 29, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 93.

She was born in Hazlehurst, Ga., on March 10, 1913. She was a homemaker. She was a Mormon.

Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Bennett. She is survived by her son, David Lee Collins, Avon Park; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof. Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
