Ernest Dewey Lee Partain

Ernie Partain of Babson Park passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his residence.

He was born January 31, 1939 in Maryville, TN to the late Ernest Leonard & Clenus (Deal) Partain; he moved here from Peoria, IL in 1959. He was a retired cabinet maker for the Polk County School Board, of the Pentecostal faith and a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army. He loved fishing, hunting and camping.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Partain; daughter, Sophie Lynn Partain of Lake Wales; son, Richard "Rick" Lee Partain (Janet) of Babson Park; brother, Steven Partain of Auburndale; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the funeral service at 2:00pm Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
