Eric Wayne Pope

Eric Wayne Pope 32, of Lakeland, Florida passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Lakeland, Florida.

He was born August 27, 1981 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Billy and Phyllis (Barron) Pope and has been a lifelong resident of Polk County. He was a Laborer for Republic Services Re-Cycling and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Lydia Pope of Lake Wales; sisters, Mandy Messer and husband Joe of Lake Wales, Rebecca King and husband Todd of Alabama; brothers, Ryan Pope of Bowling Green, Billy Pope and wife Codie of Tennessee, Robert Pope of Ft. Meade, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
