Eric Shawn Gomez, 37 Eric S. Gomez of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was born July 25, 1979 in Lake Wales, Florida. He has been a lifelong resident of the area and was a Produce Manager for Sweet Ella’s and Publix. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his father Jose Gomez-Lopez and mother Alicia J. Gomez, son Derick Joseph Gomez of Lakeland, FL, sister Melissa Gomez Baker of Dundee, FL, brothers Charles Pratt of Mt. Dora, FL, Joseph Gomez of Miami, FL. Memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Baker officiating.
