Emogene Marie Garrard

Emogene Marie Stanton Garrard 77, of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015.
She was born on March 8, 1938 in Jackson County, Florida to the late Owen and Clara Belle (Castleberry)Stanton and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. Emogene was retired from Donald Duck
(Florida’s National) as a Canner. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She was married to G.K. Garrard on February 5, 1955 in Frostproof. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2000. She was also preceded by two babies, one in 1970 and one in 1976; brother, Donald Stanton 2013.

She is survived by her son, Gerald and Wife Dorinda of Lake Wales, 2 grandchildren, Dani Taylor, Detroit, TX and Toni Garrard Paris, TX; 5 great grandchildren, Brent, Jerimiah, Grady Taylor and Isabella and Cass Garrard. Brother, Semmie Stanton, Lakeland; sister, Hazel Cofer, Frostproof.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Cox officiating.
