Emery Lynn Ohnesorge

Emery Lynn Ohnesorge, 67, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital in Orlando.

He was born on September 21, 1948 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Emery and Leonora (Rahn) Ohnesorge and he has been a resident of this area since 1986 moving here from Illinois. He was a mechanic for Fields, Sorenson, Huston Motors and retired from Patton Tire. Emery never met a stranger, he liked to fish and hunt, loved the outdoors and loved horses. He was a member of the Arthur Volunteer Fire Department in Arthur, Illinois, loved his family time and loved to talk and joke with friends.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Lou Ohnesorge; daughters, Lashelle Plank (Michael) of Arthur, IL, Malora Snyder (Doug) of Atwood, IL, Leigh Ann Anderson of Canton, NC, Amy Lynn Anderson of Apopka, FL; sister, Sharon Adams (Jim) of Shelbyville, IN; brother, Dennis Ohnesorge (Debbie) of Toledo, IL; 6 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Gracie, Madison, Annabelle, Dustin and Colten.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Arthur Volunteer Fire Department in Arthur, Illinois on May 22, 2016 at 2pm and at Tim Taylor's residence in Lake Wales, Fl on June 11th, 2016.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the Arthur Volunteer Fire Department in Arthur, Illinois.
