Eloise Conner

Eloise Conner, 79, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Hospice facility in Auburndale.

She was born April 21, 1931 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Marcus W. & Ethel Giddens; she came to Polk County as a child. She was a homemaker and enjoyed growing flowers and sharing them with others.

Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie J. Conner. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Helm of Lake Wales, Carol Griner of Lakeland and Marsha Hoffner of Davenport; sons, Anthony Conner of Alturas and Daryl Conner of Lonoke, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
