Ellum Patterson, Jr.

Ellum Patterson, Jr, “Buck”, 78, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at his residence in Frostproof, FL.
He was born on May 22, 1937, in Walhalla, South Carolina to the late Eliam and Nellie (Merle) Patterson, Sr. and has been a resident of this area since 1949 moving here from Walhalla, South Carolina. He was a former employee of 21 years with Coca Cola and a caretaker in the agriculture industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Patterson; step-sons, Gaylaynd Douglas and Jerry Douglas; and brothers, David L. Patterson and Calvin Patterson.
Survivors include his son, Johnny Patterson of Frostproof; step-sons, Lloyd Douglas of High Springs, Florida; step-daughters, Judy Westbrook of Lake Wales, FL, Linda Carter of Avon Park, FL, and Juana Waller of Frostproof, FL; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; sister, Lila Owens of Walhalla, SC.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2016, with visitation beginning at 12 noon at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with his Grandson Jonathan Keen officiating.
