Elizabeth Gertrude Rock

Elizabeth Gertrude Rock, 87 of Haines City (winter resident of Ohio) passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida.

She was born on September 25, 1927 in Painesville, Ohio to the late Patrick and Nora (Ford) Brannigan. She was a retired supervisor for Ohio Bell Telephone Company. Elizabeth was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Nick Rock; daughters, Pamela Stewart and husband Glen of Garland, Texas, Shelley Hirst of Garland, Texas; brother, Patrick F. Brannigan and wife Joan of Wadswoth, OH; grandchildren, Michelle Stephenson and husband Walter, Jacque Walker and husband Kolby, Jacob Hirst and wife Mona, Tyson Hirst and wife Andrea. 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 Am Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Glenn Charest officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 Pm at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM.
