Elizabeth Louise McVay of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
She was born November 11, 1941 in Bronx, New York to the late John and Myrtle (Tapley) McVay and came to Lake Wales 20 years ago. She was a self-employed seamstress.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years Milton McPherson, daughters Amy Goodrich, Kathy Cassidy, Christine Callahan (Thomas), sons Chuck Jefferies (Tammy), Mike Jefferies, Edward Jefferies, step children Shawn McPherson, Alex McPherson, Amy McPherson, Mathew McPherson, Heather McPherson, Doris McPherson, sisters Margaret Day of Maine and Ann, brothers Joseph McVay, Vern McVay and Robert McVay all of Maine, 32 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
