Elizabeth Ann McCrary, 83

Elizabeth Ann McCrary of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

She was born September 3, 1938 in Frostproof to the late Crawford and Elma Payne. Elizabeth was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed doing so for her family. Elizabeth loved sewing, being outdoors, and taking care of her plants. When any of her snowbird neighbors were gone, she would take care of their yards.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Dobbin” McCrary. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Morris and husband John of Frostproof, Kim Dease of Dothan, Alabama, and Cindy Ballentine and husband Gary of Frostproof; son, David McCrary and husband Luke of Davenport; sister, Carolyn McElroy of Frostproof; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2022 at Silver Hill Cemetery.
