Elinor Lorraine Palmatier, 89

Elinor Lorraine Palmatier of Frostproof passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

She was born September 13, 1934 in Berwyn, Pennsylvania to the late George and Viola Hurd; she has been a resident of the area for many years. Elinor was a member of First Baptist Church of Frostproof. She was an animal lover and enjoyed bird watching. She loved her family overall.

Elinor was preceded in death by her husband, James Palmatier; daughter, Karen Palmatier; son, James Palmatier, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Hill, Dot Richards, and Viola Walker; and brother, George Hurd, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Palmatier of Georgia; son, Tim Palmatier and wife Cindy of Coatesville, Pennsylvania; sister, Shirley Nickle of Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
