Elia Garcia

Elia Garcia of Lake Wales passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

She was born April 06, 1928 in Ladonia, Texas to the late Jacovo and Ramona (Carrisales) Zamora, and has been a resident of Lake Wales since 1982. She worked in the citrus industry and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Calderon of Lake Wales, Connie Ybanez of Lake Wales, Elizabeth Garcia of Lake Wales, Dora Gomez of Texas; sons, Robert Garcia of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Ruben Garcia of Jacksonville, John Garcia of Texas; sisters, Janie Rodriguez of Haines City, Anita Morris of Mississippi; 30 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until service time.
