Elaine J. Barnes of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Lake Hamilton.
She was born May 21, 1965 in Winter Haven and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a home healthcare Certified Nursing Assistant. Elaine was a very giving and caring person.
Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Louis Johnson. Survivors include her daughter, Brittany E. Johnson of Lake Wales; step-daughter, Amy Barnes of Lakeland; sons, Ryan Johnson and Eddy Barnes, both of Lake Wales; step-son, Michael Barnes of Tifton, GA; mother, Lucy Johnson Kytle of Lake Wales; sister, Judy Conroy of Lake Wales; brothers, Louis Johnson, Jr. of Parrish, Patrick Johnson of Moody, AL, and Ricky Smith of Lake Wales; and one grandchild, Blake Albritton.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM and Funeral services at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, with Rev. Paul Huggins officiating.
