Edwin Thomas McMillan, 62

Edwin Thomas McMillan of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 28, 1958 in Beloit, Kansas to the late Alan Edwin and Barbara Ann McMillan; he moved to Lake Wales from Randall, Kansas 31 years ago. Edwin was a parts manager for Chemical Container, Inc and was of the Christian faith. He was a great family man who loved spending time with his family. Edwin was a hard working and dedicated person and would help everyone. He was an amazing husband and dad.

Edwin is survived by his wife of 33 years, Alesia McMillan; sons, Edwin Cole McMillan (Chelle) of Lima, Ohio, and Cade Thomas McMillan of Lake Wales; sisters, Debbie Scott (Gary) of Lyons, Kansas, and Rhonda Motis of Lake Wales; brothers, Bruce McMillan (Connie) of Randall, Kansas, William McMillan (Elesa) of Mankato, Kansas, and David McMillan of Mound Ridge, Kansas; grandson, Brooks Edwin McMillan; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to the American Red Cross (www.redcross.org/donate/donation.html/) or to charity of your choice.
