Edward A. Stephan of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Savannah Court in Lake Wales.

He was born July 24, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Philip and Regina Stephan. He moved to Lake Wales from New York in 1975. Edward was a retired Bus Driver.  He served in WWII with the Navy. Edward was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was a proud blood donor.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Stephan. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Conte of Brooklyn, New York, and Christine Stephan of Brooklyn, New York; sons, Edward Stephan, Jr. and wife Christine of Red Bank, New Jersey, and Richard Stephan of Brooklyn, New York; brother, Philip Stephan of New Jersey; many nieces and nephews; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and beloved friend and caregiver, Carolyn Avellaneda.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales with Father David Vargas officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will take place at Lake Wales Cemetery.
