Edward Hanrahan

Edward Hanrahan, 80 of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Waters Edge due to Cerebral Atherosclerosis.

He was born May 24, 1934 in Bronx, New York to the late Joseph and Mary (Brennan) Hanrahan. He has been a resident of the area for 20 years coming from Miami, Florida and was a retired Communications Tech for AT&T and Bell South. He was a veteran in the United States Marines serving in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and the Family Motor coach Association. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his twin brother Kieran Joseph Hanrahan, Sister Kathleen and son Brian Hanrahan.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Frances Hanrahan of Lake Wales, FL, daughters Lynn Hanrahan of Lake Wales, FL, Doreen Hanrahan and husband Eddie of Houston, TX, son Edward Hanrahan of Lake Wales, FL, Brother Richard Donald Hanrahan of Long Beach, New York. 2 Grandchildren Courtney Hanrahan and Samuel Harris.

Funeral services we be held 1:00pm Friday, January 16, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Glenn Charest and Rev. Chad Reynolds officiating . Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
