Edna Ruth Griffin

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Ruth Griffin of Walhalla, South Carolina, born in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband James Erwood Griffin of Walhalla; parents, Kay Hudson and Eloise Owens Hudson; and siblings, Eldon, Jerry Hudson and Irene Heddon.

She is survived by her children, Dallas Griffin (Julia), Randall Griffin (Rene), Don Griffin (Ra) and Robin Griffin; and siblings, Bennie Hudson, Margaret Genco, Joyce Gibson (Les) and Eunice Whittamore. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
