Edna Pearl Burrows, 82

Edna Pearl Burrows of Lake Placid passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Lake Placid Rehab and Nursing Home.

She was born June 29, 1937 in Opp, Alabama, to the late Harry and Pearl Edwards. Pearl moved to Lake Placid from Miami 30 years ago. She was a retired Supervisor for Merck Pharmaceutical.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Charles “Red” Burrows on January 2, 2007; daughter, Annetta Morrell; brothers, Harry Edwards, Jr., Kenneth Edwards, Buddy Edwards, Jerry Edwards, and Smidge Edwards; sisters, Carolyn Shellman, and Emma Pauline Locke, who just passed yesterday. She is survived by her children, Robert Richburg of Dallas, Texas, Debra Ayoub of Ft. Myers, Richard Morrell of Miami, and Anthony Morrell of Lake Placid; brothers, Pete Edwards of Lake Wales, and Royce Edwards of Waterloo, Alabama; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday June 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will be at Lake Wales Cemetery.
