Edith Smith Williams of North Chili, NY passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at AdventHealth-Lake Wales.

She was born February 8, 1936 in Red Creek, NY to the late Ray and Viola (Keller) Smith; she has been coming to Lake Wales as a winter resident for 23 years. She was a homemaker, member of Pearce Memorial Church in North Chili, NY and an active attendee of First Baptist Church in Lake Wales, where she was involved in the Life Connection Group. Edith and her husband travelled around the country with the SOWER’s Ministry in their RV.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, David Williams; daughter, Michelle Williams - Allen (Larry Allen) of Churchville, NY; son, Timothy Williams (Pam Bolger) of Hilton, NY; brother, Raymond Smith (Patricia) of Spencerport, NY; three grandchildren, Ryan (Colie) Cummings, Jessica (Kyle) Gauldin and Michael Williams, Joe Bolger; and three great-grandchildren, Rogan, Lillian Rose and Cassandra.

The family will receive friends from 10:00a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales with Dr. Scott Markley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Lake Wales Care Center (140 East Park Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida 33853).
