Edith Annie Marlow, 90 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Royal Care of Avon Park with many family members and friends at her side.

She was born on March 23, 1926 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Eddie and Cleo (Tindell) Respress and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She worked in the citrus industry as a fruit grader and was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Frostproof.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Marlow in 1993; daughters, Martha C. Carpenter in 2016, Katherine Marlow; 3 brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Ethel Anderson (Jim) of Ochlocknee, Ga, Dianne Tucker (David) of Mulberry, Della Ammons (Johnny) of Franklin, NC; son- in-law, Bill Carpenter; sons, Jimmy Marlow of Frostproof, Roger Marlow (Carmen) of Lee, Florida; sisters, Betty Jean Feaster of Babson Park, Marie Sellars (David) of Frostproof; 23 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; longtime special friend Aliene Jones and numerous self-adopted children and grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood and Rev. Wren Collins officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
