Edith M. Goodwin-Love

Edith M. Goodwin-Love of Lake Wales passed away Monday, February 17, 2020.

She was born July 10, 1943 in Pecan Gap, TX to the James Albert and Ada Sue McNutt; she came here from Georgia in 1976. She retired from Winter Haven Hospital as an insurance clerk after more than 25 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, her life revolved around her daughter and grandchildren. She had a sweet calmness that was shared with everyone and loved by many. She enjoyed frequent conversation with her sisters that could sometimes last hours.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Wesley Love, Jr. and daughter, Karen Davis. Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Rafool and husband, Christian of Winter Haven; sisters, Estelle Melson of Bartow and Laura Marie Williams of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Cody Davis, Mandi Davis, Travis Davis, Joseph Rafool and Banks Rafool; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lake Wales Cemetery with Dr. Jim Moyer officiating.
