Edith L. Biggs

Edith L. Biggs of Zephyrhills (formerly of Frostproof) passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Gulfside Regional Hospice facility.

She was born January 8, 1923 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Clark and Luella (Earhart) Rinkeviczie; and came to Frostproof from Bay City, Michigan in 1985, then moved to Zephyrhills nine years ago. Edith was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof, a former member of Eastern Star, and was involved with many church activities.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Biggs and grandson, Terry Biggs, Jr. Survivors include her son, Terry Biggs, and his wife Suzanne, of Zephyrhills; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof, with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time.
