Earl “Michael” Clemens, 75

Earl “Michael” Clemens of Lake Wales passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born October 12, 1948 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Earl and Claire Clemens; he moved to Lake Wales from North Carolina 25 years ago. Michael was a teacher for Osceola County Schools and a veteran of the United States Army. He loved to garden and go to the beach. Michael was active in the National Counsel for History Education and was an American History enthusiast.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Clemens. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gary Clemens; sons, Jordan Clemens and wife Jada of Lake Wales, and Brandon Clemens of Lake City; and six grandchildren.
