E. Larry Mimbs

E. Larry Mimbs of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born September 12, 1941 in Lake Wales to the late George and Dorothy (Starling) Mimbs; and is a lifelong resident of the area. He was an iron worker/welder, of the Baptist faith and member of Kissimmee River Valley Airboat Association.

Survivors include his daughter, Marllene Morrel of Washington, and son, Ricky Mimbs of Lake Wales.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery.
