Dwain “Buck” Becker, 72

Dwain “Buck” Becker of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at his residence.

He was born September 10, 1951 in Bellevue, Iowa to the late Elmer and Loretta Becker. Buck was a self-employed financial advisor. He loved camping and riding his Harley trike. He started playing the guitar at the age of five and sang in bands. Buck enjoyed entertaining people and was full of life.

Buck is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kristine L. Becker; daughters, Diana Weathers (Michael) of Lakeland, Kara Vaassen (J. Mark Whigham) of Winter Haven, Lea Vaassen of Lakeland, and Erin Darling (Kent) of Winter Haven; son, Craig Becker (Donna) of Dothan, Alabama; sister, Darlene Gleason of Bellevue, Iowa; and grandchildren, Joshua Becker, Alexandria Bruner, M. Jesse Weathers, Jacob Weathers, Logan Haynie, Kaley Tamanini, and Meta Haynie.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the celebration of life at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024 at The Haven Worship Center (1835 Overlook Drive, Winter Haven, Florida 33884) with Pastor Jason Hughes officiating. For the celebration of life, please wear loud and colorful clothes in Buck’s honor.
