DUANE HAZEL, 72

Duane Hazel of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

Born October 26, 1935 in Sturgis, KY, he came here from Manassas, VA 16 years ago. He was a computer programmer for Martin Marietta, a building contractor and of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his life partner, Betty Bennett; daughters, Vicki Case of Battle Creek, MI, Kim Combs of Battle Creek, MI and Kathy Babin of Atlanta, GA; son, Mark Case of Tampa; brother, Arthur Hazel of PA; and sister, Daneen Beaver of Port Charlotte.
