Dr. Karem Y. Principe-Rodriguez

Dr. Karem Y. Principe-Rodriguez of Winter Haven passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at her residence.

She was born December 12, 1969 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco Jose Principe-Rodriguez and Lydia Esther Rodriguez-Quinones; and she moved from Lake County to Polk County 7 years ago. She was a medical doctor at Lake Wales Medical Center and Bartow Regional Medical Center and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed arts and crafts, Precious Moments, shopping, movies, parties, puzzles and table games. She liked to be challenged with mind games and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her daughter, Genesis Nicole DeJesus-Principe of Orlando; son, Uriel Francisco Miranda-Principe of Winter Haven; sisters, Lydia I. Principe-Rodriguez, Frances A. Principe-Rodriguez and Ingrid A. Principe-Rodriguez; brothers, Francisco J. Principe-Rodriguez and Edgar F. Principe-Rodriguez; one grandson, Kariel E. Mercado-DeJesus.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 3:00p.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Hector Santiago officiating.
