Dr. James Tyler Hansen, 81
Dr. James Tyler Hansen of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital.
He was born January 31, 1940 in Upland, California to the late Jack and Beverly Hansen; he moved to Lake Wales from Maui five years ago. Dr. Hansen was a self-employed physician and a veteran Major of the United States Army. He was a member of the Mormon church.
Dr. Hansen was preceded in death by his brother, David Hansen. He is survived by his wife of five years, Josephine Hansen; daughter, Jennifer Hansen of New York; son, James Hansen (Pamela) of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, Maddie, James, and Henry.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
