BABSON PARK -- Dr. Dennis E. Fisher of Babson Park died of injuries sustained in an auto accident Thursday (April 27, 2006) in Frostproof. He was 56. (See story, page B1)

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 20, 1950, he came to Babson Park at an early age. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and practiced in Lake Wales for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Defenders of Crooked Lake. He was a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, Polk County Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales.

Dr. Fisher is survived by his wife, La Donna Fisher; daughter, Danielle Fisher, Lake Wales; son, David Fisher, Lake Wales; father, Eugene Fisher, Lake Wales; sister, Karen Martin, Lake Wales.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales.
