Douglas “Lelan” Wyrosdick, Sr., 75

Douglas “Lelan” Wyrosdick, Sr. of Lake Wales passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born September 6, 1948 in Elba, Alabama to the late Webb and Juanita Wyrosdick. Lelan was a store manager for Central Florida Fleet Service and served with the United States Navy from 1966 until 1968. He was a member of NorthRidge Baptist Church in Haines City. He enjoyed bass fishing and being on the water with his family.

Lelan is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janie Wyrosdick; daughter, Tammy Jones (Kenny) of Alva; sons, Douglas Wyrosdick, Jr. of Lake Wales and Michael Webb Wyrosdick (Amanda) of Babson Park; sisters, Bonnie Slaughter of Lake City and Joyce Miller of LaBelle; brother, Roy Wyrosdick (Dell) of Winter Haven; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
