Douglas Edward Victor, 68

Douglas Edward Victor of Winter Haven and Punta Gorda passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his brother-in-law’s home in Winter Haven.

He was born April 8, 1955, in Utica, New York. Doug grew up in Punta Gorda and was a long-time resident of the area. He was the retired Vice President for Sun Trust Bank in Punta Gorda. Doug was active in Trinity Baptist Church in Punta Gorda where he was treasurer for many years. He was a boat enthusiast.

Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret (Maggs) Victor. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joan Victor; father, Ed Victor of Murphy, North Carolina; and sister, Diane Rowan of Marble, North Carolina.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Baptist Church in Punta Gorda (11234 Royal Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33955) with Rev. David Koon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be sent to Trinity Baptist Church in Punta Gorda.
