Douglas Tolson

Douglas Tolson, born on August 23, 1961, in Lake Wales, Florida, passed away at his residence on January 16, 2026.

He led a fulfilling life as a handyman, where he used his skills to help neighbors and friends alike. While attending The Bridge Central Church in Lake Wales, Douglas was known for his kind heart and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Douglas cherished his time spent fishing, working on cars, and enjoying the great outdoors.

He is survived by his loving family, which includes three daughters: Amanda Dunn and her husband Scott of Cocoa, Erica Tolson of Cocoa, and Crystal Tolson of Ormond Beach. He also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Haley, William, Bryan, Chase, and Lani. Douglas is also remembered by his siblings: Tracy Townson and her husband Michael of Murphy, North Carolina; Kelly A. Covey of Lake Wales; Elaine Dallas of Lakeland; and Noel Tolson of Lake Wales. His mother, Myrna Bennett of Lake Wales, will also carry his memory in her heart.

Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Douglas Tolson, Sr., and his brother, Joel Tolson.
