Douglas E. “Doug” Vasser, 64
Doug Vasser of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his residence.
He was born May 3, 1953 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Jesse and Violet (Simpson) Vasser. He has been a resident of the area for 15 years coming from Hollywood, Florida. He was a veteran in the United States Air Force serving in Viet Nam. He loved spending time with family and was always doing for others. He was a Miami dolphins fan, enjoyed photography, fishing and dog sitting Pickle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers David and Marty, sister Faye.
Survivors include his sisters Deborah Bellamy and husband Ken of Lake Wales, FL, Sandy Apakian of Lake Wales, FL, Melanie Hunter and husband Al.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
