FEDHAVEN--Dorothy Ruth Vandeveer, 90, of Fedhaven died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born April 15, 1917 in Indianapolis, Indiana; she came here from Indianapolis in 1979. She was a retired secretary for F.M.C. Corporation.

Mrs. Vandeveer was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Vandeveer. Survivors include her step-sons, Robert L. Cochran of West Palm Beach, FL; William Cochran of New Bern, NC; John L. Vandeveer of Plainfield, IN; niece, Paula Puntenney of Indianapolis, IN.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Sunday, July 08, 2007 at First Baptist Church at Indian Lake Estates. Burial will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Garden in Indianapolis, Indiana.
