Dorothy Smith

Dorothy L. Smith, 94 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Life Care Center in Winter Haven.

She was born December 3, 1919 in Kissimmee, Florida to the late Adam and Lenora (Lamb) Yates. She has been a resident of the area since 1944 coming from Orlando, Florida and was the owner of Palms Restaurant in Lake Wales. She was a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Smith

Survivors include her daughter June Roberts and husband Truman of Lake Wales, FL, son Everett “Smitty” Smith of Lake Wales, FL, sister Maxine Tanner of St. Cloud, FL, 2 grandchildren Richard and Deanne, 5 Great-grandchildren Kyle, Derek, Zachery, Dillon, Austin, 1 Great-Great- Grandchild Kaiden. Those who wish may make donations to Lake Wales Moose Lodge Memorial fund at 3601 State Road 60 East, Lake Wales, Fl. 33898.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Lake Wales Moose Lodge.
