Dorothy Virginia Lee

Dorothy Lee of Lake Wales passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her residence.

She was born October 28, 1920 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Asbury and Laura (Benton) Prine, and has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. All family and friends who knew her and those lives that were touched by her love and kindness will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Lee in 1970

Survivors include her daughter, Doris Powell-Vella (husband Jim) of Lake Wales; son, Eugene Lee of Lake Wales; 2 Grandchildren, Matthew Lee and Debbie Gunn; 2 Great Grandchildren, Ashley Lee and Hayden Lee

Funeral services will be held 10:00 Am Monday, December 03, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Smith officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 02, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home
