Dorothy A. Highfield

Dorothy A. “Dotti” Highfield, 89 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Spring Haven-Memorial Care Unit in Winter Haven, Florida.

She was born July 22, 1925 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Truman Curtis and Mary Catherine (Hammock) Russ and has been a resident of River Ranch near Lake Wales, Florida since 1989 moving here from Dayton, Ohio. She was a Homemaker. Dotti was a former realtor in Ohio, she was a home decorator, Tai Chi Instructor and was an exceptional hostess for many years at River Ranch parties and events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. “Chief” Highfield, Jr. in June 2014.

Survivors include her son, Clarence R. “Jock” Highfield III and wife Barbara of Pearce, Arizona; former daughter–n-Law, Susan Highfield of Charleston, South Carolina; 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
