FROSTPROOF--Dorothy F. Godwin of Frostproof died Monday, December 11, 2006 at The Groves Center in Lake Wales. She was 80.

Born November 01, 1926 in Tampa; she has been a lifelong resident of Lake Wales and Frostproof. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof. She was an accomplished seamstress and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her former husband, Royce K. Godwin Sr. of Lake Wales; daughter, Sue Ann and John Fox of Auburn, AL; sons, Royce K. and Stephanie Godwin Jr. of Frostproof; Joe and Rhonwyn Godwin of Orlando; 7 grandchildren, Ken, Michele, Amanda, Kristin, Andrea, Shane, and Tannah; and 5 great-grandchildren, Coral, Ocean, Brooks, Gunnar, and Mason.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof with Rev. John Fox and Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church, Renovations Fund, 96 West B Street, Frostproof, Florida 33843
