Dorothy Marilene Brooks

Dorothy Marilene Brooks, 73, of Frostproof passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Good Shepherd Hospice.
Born March 08, 1934 in Malvern, AL; she has been a lifelong resident of Frostproof. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship Church in Frostproof.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her late husband, George Howard Branch; sister, Carolyn McKenzie; and brother, Buddad Smith. Survivors include her husband C.H. Brooks of Frostproof; son, Howard Branch of Frostproof; brother, Johnny Mack Smith of Hinton, IO; sister, Pat Powel of Frostproof; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM, Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM, Friday at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
