Dorothy Mae Balsiger, 86

Dorothy Mae Balsiger of Frostproof was born on December 28, 1935, in Delaware, OH to the late Frederick and Lela Grieble passed away on March 19, 2022.  She was an avid lottery player and was known as the “Lottery Queen”.  She also enjoyed watching game shows and loved seeing her grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter Jackie Wilson; 3 sisters, Mary Jean, Nora, and Patty.  She is survived by her life partner Lonnie Vilines of Frostproof; daughters Yvonne Dixon of Madison, TN, and Vicky Kunchinskas and husband Jerrold of Lake Wales; her sons Randy Balsiger of Zephyrhills, and Vincent Balsiger and wife Teri of Lutz; her sisters Betty Jo, and Doris; brothers; John, and Billy; 11 grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., May 7, 2022 at the Sun Ray Clubhouse 15 George Street, Frostproof, Florida 33843.
