Doris Annelle Mosley

Doris Annelle Mosley of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born June 5, 1932 in Brundidge, AL to the late Captain Mitchell & Delphia Irene (Adams) Barefoot; she came here from Alabama 35 years ago. She was a retired inspector for the Field Crest Manufacturing Company and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Homemaker's Club.

Survivors include her husband, William T. "Bill" Mosley; a daughter, Katrina Ann Batson of Lake Wales; four sisters, Mildred Rodgers of Columbus, GA, Thelma Rodgers of Phenix City, AL, Shirley Shipman of Birmingham, AL and Irma Jean Hart of Shalimar, FL; and one grandchild, Douglas Batson, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, April 10, 2011 and the funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Barry Hooten officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
