WAVERLY--Doris Jean Brown, 70, of Waverly died of heart failure Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

Born August 21, 1936 in Vernon, FL; she came here from Vernon in 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Indian Lake Estates.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Missie M. Clemmons; sister, Dorothy Earl; and brother, Curtis Clemmons. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia E. Heath of Winter Haven; Peggy E. Koruschak of Lake Wales; son, Perry E. Brown of Frostproof; sister, Florence Skipper of Waverly; 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Littleton and Rev. Mark Koruschak officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. For those who wish, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
