Doris Everett

Doris Hollis Everett of Frostproof passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born November 12, 1922 in Esto, Florida to the late Coy Kinsey and Ethel (Kirkland) Hollis and has been a resident of Frostproof since 1946 moving here from Slocomb, Alabama. She was a retired School Teacher for Highlands County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof. Doris was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Everett, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Marisue Sebastian of Lake Wales; Son, Eugene Everett Jr. of Frostproof; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Silver Hill Cemetery with James Spence officiating.
