Doris C. Bryant

Doris C. Bryant of Lake Wales died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born in Dublin, GA on February 16, 1928 to the late David and Clara (Tanner) Robertson; and came to Lake Wales from Winter Haven in 1993. She was a homemaker, a Food & Beverage Manager for restaurants in Orlando, and also worked for Waverly Growers for a short time. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching golf, watching football and pulled for all Florida teams.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Wilson of Lake Wales, Carol Crosby (Griffin) of Lake Wales; son, Jeffrey Hamburg of Dunn, NC; sister, Adlene Swinson of Tallahassee; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 6:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM.
