Dorinda B. Brown

Dorinda B. Brown of Lake Wales passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born June 25, 1947 in Lake Wales to the late A. Lester & Marie Pollard Betts; and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Athens Baptist Church in Bereah. She enjoyed family times.

Dorinda was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Brown; and a nephew, Denny Crews. Survivors include her step-son, James G. “Jerry” Brown and wife, Deborah of Lake Wales; sister, Deborah Crews and husband, Horace (Deceased) of Bereah; four grandchildren, Pat Brown, Andrew Brown, Nick Brown and Autumn DeBolla; six great-grandchildren, Landon, Evan, Mason, Ryan, Bailey and Taylor; nephew, Nathan Crews and wife, Tina of Bereah; great-nieces and great-nephew, Gracie, Emily, and Garrett.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
