Dorance "Dory" Howell of Winter Haven passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at AdventHealth Lake Wales. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. A dear friend to all who knew her.

She has been a resident of the area since 2001. Dory was retired from the real estate industry and was a member of Unity Church in Sebring. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.), a lineage-based membership for women who are direct descendants of people who were involved in the efforts of independence.

Dory was preceded in death by her son, Bruce. She is survived by her sons, Donald and his wife Ramona, and Mark and his wife Susanna; grandchildren, Michael and Theresa; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Jazleen, Julianne, Loralee, and Luke; cousin Donna; Carole, Karen, and Jennifer, all of whom she considered her daughters; and Chelsea and Emmy, who she considered her grandchildren.
