Donnie Johnson, Sr.

Donnie Johnson of Lake Wales passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born May 26, 1950 in Bartow to the late Noah D. & Vera Agnes Johnson; and he was a lifelong resident of the area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Orlando; son, Donnie Johnson Jr (Treva) of Dothan, AL and Clint Johnson of Lake Wales; sisters, Kathryn Braddy of Lake Wales, Mary Harper of Cairo, GA, Joyce Rodgers of Lake Wales and Wanda Bush of Lake Wales; brothers, Charles Johnson of Lake Wales, Ronnie Johnson of Lake Wales, Norman Johnson of Lake Wales and Mark Johnson of Welaka; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, October 4, 2012 and the funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Koon officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
